I re-designed my site to a minimalist, simple, grey theme. I used Yummygum's IconSweets for the top navigation bar and the search box. Also when you hover an top bar icon, the background color turns grey (added a smooth transition too) except for the social icons (Twitter icon, IconDeposit icon and G+ icon) where their background are turning in orange (G+), dark grey (IconDeposit) and light blue (Twitter). I also added a Nivo slider on the Homepage and placed the top bar "inside the page title". The page title is a little bad looking because I had some problems with the padding.
